The Lord is calling us to have an “All Things” attitude. He wants us to believe in the miraculous, but also for all our needs both natural and spiritual. Most people believe He’s only involved in the miraculous and supernatural, but He is very involved in our natural lives, and with the right mindset even natural needs can be met supernaturally!
1 Timothy 6:17
to put their hope in God,
who richly provides us with EVERYTHING we need
God is calling us to believe that he RICHLY provides us with EVERYTHING we need. And the truth is, if we don’t have it, it’s because we don’t need it in the season that we are in. Most people are believing God for things that will be a major distraction and a major burden and responsibility and will end up pulling us from what he has planned for us, and that which is most important!
But our call is to put our trust and hope in the one who provides All The Things we need. We can’t possibly do this, but only He can! He is our provider, and what He provides is always in abundance! He is the one who opens the doors, and makes a way where there is no way. We could never do that.
Let’s say it outloud, “Lord, I thank you that you provide EVERYTHING that I need, and I trust you as my provider and waymaker. I take my eyes off of my own resources, and I shift them to yours. I take my eyes off my ability to make it happen, and I shift it to Yours! I thank you that I can trust my entire life, and all needs with you.” Amen.
Philippians 4:19
And my God will supply EVERYTHING YOU NEED according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
There it is again! God promises to supply you with EVERYTHING you need, according to His Riches found in your covenant with Him, through Christ Jesus. There is ABUNDANCE, where? In Christ Jesus. And those who put their hope and trust in His riches, and not theirs, put a demand on them.
It’s through faith, that all Grace comes. And that Grace covers all that you will ever need!
Not only natural but also spiritual, both. And the natural will serve the spiritual.
Hebrews 13:21
20 The God of peace, 21 will equip you with EVERYTHING GOOD to do His will.
And HE WILL accomplish ALL THINGS in us what is pleasing in His sight through Jesus Christ,
to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.
1 Timothy 6:17
We trust in God who graciously equips us with EVERYTHING we need
There it is! God will equip you with EVERYTHING YOU NEED! And will accomplish all things in us that are necessary to do His Will. And He Will Do It!
This means, we can’t, but He will! Let’s shift our attention off of our own ability to accomplish all things in Him, and let’s focus on His Promise! God says, He Will accomplish All Things in Us! For His Glory and Honor, not our own!
Not only will he Equip you with the gifts, and the fruit, and the natural resources to do his Will, but will teach you everything you need to know! For the Lord said…
John 15:15
for EVERYTHING that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.
He will make sure you know and have everything you need. We can trust and believe in His Provision! He will do it! He will make it happen! He will provide it! Amen! And if it hasn’t happened yet, it’s because you don’t need it, or it’s not for you, because the one who Provides EVERYTHING will give you EVERYTHING YOU NEED!
Not only will He equip you with the gifts, fruit, provision, and knowledge you need, but through this, you will be given, by Grace, the manifestation of these, which is Godliness and a changed nature, that is, from sinful to divine! Too good to be true? Well, let’s see!
2 Peter 1:3
His divine power has given us EVERYTHING we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
You see, through this knowledge that is given, that is, ALL THE THINGS he learned from the Father, we are opened and will begin flowing in the Spirit of God, which will in turn bring Transformation to our flesh, and the cleansing required for a new nature and a godly life! Amen!
You see, we can trust God that His plans are ALWAYS bigger and greater than ours! And He is able to do 1,000,000X more than we can even believe or ask, and all this through the Power deposited within us! Lord, I believe, help my unbelief! For it was the Lord who said,
Ephesians 3:20
Now to HIM who is able to do exceedingly ABOVE everything that we ask or think,
according to the power working in us,
Notice we capitalized “ABOVE?” You see God is able to do above everything we think, ask or will for him. He wants us to shift our focus off what we think we are doing for Him, onto what He is doing for us, which is alway ABOVE. He is the Provider. He is our Provision. Far too often we want to provide for Him, or show him what we are doing for him, but He desires that we rest in His Work and Provision, not our own, Amen. For it is God who has said,
Ephesians 1:11
having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out EVERYTHING in conformity with the purpose of his will, (not our will for Him)
You see it is God who works EVERYTHING in conformity to HIS WILL. It’s not us trying to work things out for the Lord’s sake, but it is for His Glory, that He Works EVERYTHING. We are not God, we could never work ALL THINGS in conformity in our lives. He is the Provider, He is our EVERYTHING, who works ALL THINGS together for the good…
Romans 8:28
And we know that in all things
God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Who works? In how many things? All things!!! God works!!! That leaves no room for me and my efforts! My only effort is to stay focused and trust in, and put my faith and hope in His efforts!!! Oh yah! I rest in You Lord. I rest in Your provision Lord, not my own! I repent of looking to my own works, and for taking responsibility for what is only yours! I shift my focus back to you and your provision, and look forward to the Mighty Works that will flow from this focus! Amen.
It’s for your glory, for your honor! And we know and trust that all of your promises come through Faith and by Grace, lest we boast and trust in what we are doing for you! So we receive them, by faith!
Romans 8:31
If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all— how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us ALL THINGS?
You see the Lord wants to GIVE you ALL THINGS! Why would we want to work for them and earn them through our best efforts and our striving, when we can simply RECEIVE them through faith, by Grace!
Then we can brag on him, and then the only boasting left for us, is on our weaknesses!!! Amen! What a faithful, glorious God! The Lord wants to take us from a place where we are focused on our provision to resting in His! We believe and receive yours now! Amen.
What did Job learn in this regard?
Job 3:25
What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me.
You see Job’s trust was in his own Provision. His own sacrifices for himself and His Children, but Not God! And he truly did not trust God with his family and his property, even his own health and well being! And that because of this, Satan was given “legal” access to him, but only enough to bring the brokenness and adjustments that were needed.
You see later, Job, through humble suffering finally realized and wrestled with and broke free from his fears!
And what was the final lesson that he learned?!
Job 42
1 Then Job replied to the Lord:
2 “I know that you can do ALL THINGS no purpose of yours can be thwarted.
Surely I spoke of things I did not understand, things too wonderful for me to know.
6 I despise myself and repent in dust and ashes.”
Job repented for not believing God in and for ALL THINGS!
But you see, even Job didn’t have a mediator, like we have in Christ Jesus! He says,
Job 9:33
33 If only there were someone to mediate between us, someone to bring us together,
And yes, there is! His Name is Christ Jesus, and He has already done it! He has accomplished ALL THINGS FOR US!
1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,
And what has this mediator done?
John 19:28-30
28 After this, Jesus, knowing that ALL THINGS were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled…
30 He said, “(ALL THINGS) are finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
He finished our covenant, and He finishes His work in the lives of all who trust in the Father through Him!
Job could never do it, you and I could never do it! But Christ Jesus has done it! But what we needed, and what we need and what we are going to need, could NEVER be provided for by us, but ONLY HIM. Glory to God!
Let’s make a decision to take a leap of faith and begin trusting in him for EVERYTHING WE NEED, and rest in His Provision, knowing THAT…
HE EQUIPS US WITH ALL THINGS
HE WORKS ALL THINGS TOGETHER FOR THE GOOD
HE GIVES US ALL THINGS
WE CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH HIM
HE HAS DONE ALL THINGS!!!
HE HAS ACCOMPLISHED ALL THINGS!!!
HE HAS FINISHED ALL THINGS!!
Amen!
